ABOUT US

Mr. Norman Dulaney was a body shop worker before World War II. After the war, in 1947, he opened Dulaney Auto Parts in Plainview, Texas with the idea of making used auto and truck parts a respectable and profitable business.

To further his idea he opened Dulaney Auto Parts in Amarillo, Texas in 1955 followed by Dulaney Truck Parts in 1960.

53 years have come and gone and even from the beginning when recycling had not become such a necessary thing as it is today, Dulaney Auto and Truck Parts has recycled saving the public money, saving the environment, and recycling up to 75% of each vehicle. Norman Dulaney and his staff have grown into a business nationally recognized and they are one of the leading auto recylcers in the Southwest.

Dulaney Auto and Truck Parts employs 8 people including some of the most professional auto recyclers in the nation.

Dulaney Auto and Truck Parts is a member of the Texas Automotive Recylcers Association and the Automotive Recyclers Association, an international trade association.

Dulaney Auto and Truck Parts is proud to be part of the Amarillo community and we strive to help give back some of what the city and its people give to us. We have helped with a Kids Inc. project, yearly we give to Meals on Wheels, Make A Wish Foundation, Amarillo and Canyon School money making projects. Recently we have been given the honor of having special police dog training being done on our property. We are proud and happy to assist law enforcement and any other community project that helps make Amarillo a better place and in turn that helps Dulaney Auto and Truck Parts to be an automotive recycler of the highest degree.
